  People like Brad(Bradley) working at front desk at Hertz are an absolute disgrace to customer service. He waa certainly not the friendly type and being unfriendly is alright, but being rude was a shocker for me. End of the day, I am a human being and would like to be treated with some respect. To add, I am not asking for red carpet welcome, but just make an eye contact and be helpful! If someone can't do that while sitting at the front desk, then they should find another job!

  To turn things around, another chap named Colin or someone with name starting with C, turned out to be extremely helpful and sensible when I went to return the car. When I appraised him of the situation, he was extremely apologetic.

  I booked van for moving mattress and went to pick up next day, guy from store rang morning and asked where I'm van is ready. I drove from Coburg to hoppers crossing just to pick up van when I'm almost in store Someone range me again and say we don't have van. I went inside and talked to guy he just say we don't have van and get from somewhere else's. Is that is responsible answer??? If you can't deliver what you promise why you are on market??? Is franchise market policy is that much weak.??? Worst car rental. I won't take anything even I get free.

  We were renting cars through hertz hoppers crossing for almost a year as a repeat customer. This ended abruptly when Brad and Connor asked us to return one of their cars, their reason being because it required a service - fair enough, so we did. That day I returned the car I did not even receive a friendly greeting at reception, Brad turned and walked out and left Connor to deal with me. I was first asked "do you have the keys" no hello, no eye contact, nothing. He was rude and could not look at me when he spoke. I felt embarrassed as if this branch were treating us as if we were at fault. After he checked the car he walked back to the office and all he said to me was there is X amount owing which I paid. I reluctantly asked about the next car available which my husband had organised with Connor over the phone the night before. Connor LIED and said they didn't have any available. The yard had a full fleet. It was obvious they were rejecting us. But why? We were repeat customers and always made payments. This was not the first time either. My husband rented a ute over the phone before with Brad. He was told yes sure no problem pick it up tomorrow. When my husband went to pick it up, Matt was rude and simply shut him down with a blunt response "we don't have a ute available...there is no booking...." Not even an apology. He just stood there. These guys are rude and they raise their prices inconsistently, even with repeat customers. They do not give a damn about you! Never EVER deal with these guys. Hertz AIRPORT however offer an outstanding service! Go there instead.
