  My partner and I hired a marquee, heater and glasses from this place for an event we were holding. There were no problems with the set up of the marquee and received everything promptly, however when we opened up the boxes of glasses that we received we noticed that there were 4 different types of champagne glasses and 2 different types of glasses. As we were not happy I called up the mobile number on the brochure and explained my concerns, the customer service we received was terrible and the person on the phone said "that is why we are cheaper". As I did not want to have mismatched glasses I said I will need to return them and they should have told us from the beginning if they did not have the amount of glasses to supply us with the same ones. He got a bit aggressive when I stated this, but said I can return them the next day. When I went to the shop the next day to return them, the lady at the counter was very empathetic and said that the wrong box was picked up and that they did have enough glasses to supply us, however we had already organised with someone else (as the event was that evening). When the marquee was being picked up 4 days later we still got harassed by the person taking the marquee (the same person on the phone I'm guessing) about how the pegs were rusted. It did rain twice over the 4 days, however that was the reason we were getting the marquee and obviously out of our control. I am only partially happy with the customer service I have received from this store and although the person doing the delivering/receiving is not the main person of contact, I would recommend that they improve their customer service skills.

  Hired a tent for a corporate function these guys were great , delivered on time great price and service . The staff were very nice and we will be back

  We were going to order the whole lamb but the owner said it is too much for 10ppl, so We take his advise to go with the lamb and pork mix at 300 instead of 380(whole lamb), when we got the meats on the New Years Eve, it has disappointed all our guest, we are so embarrassed. Totally not worth it! Any meat you got from supermarket would taste much better. You have no idea where these 2 pieces of meat coming from, it's like a blended mixed meat. The owner said it includes the crispy skin pork but there is no skin on either lamb or pork. When we return the gear and ask him, he said he never ever said that.....what???Definitely not going back again.

  We purchased a spit large enough to hold a lamb or small Pig from Spits for Hire last December, and continue to purchase meat packages from them for it - gotta love that Portuguese style marinade!

  We have now used Paul several times over the last few years for small and big functions. He supplies and marinates all the different meats with amazing results. I would recommend him if you want to treat your friends and family to quality food and really good service.
