  I did like this shop but won’t be returning! Be aware when you order an item in, as I did as prints, my order came in and I found out, a day before my landlord has said I was not allowed to put anything on the walls, so I had to council my order which was unwrapped still at the shop, so I was charged $130 cancellation fee, I can understand they will have to charge me a fee, but that much! that’s extremely disgraceful policy oz design, good for there money hungry pockets! they know how to rip off there customers!

  We received a faulty Clover lounge, feathers constantly kept coming out giving us bad allergic reactions , seat cushions kept slipping beneath us as we sunk into the seats (also giving us immense back pain) due to the cheap slippery seat lining used.. Waited several weeks for a response from the customer care team regarding our complaint.. After several attempts to contact cust care with no response we finally brought the issue forward to the store manager! At first he was helpful quickly organising a replacement lounge similar style for a clean exchange, however failed to provide ALL the measurements and failed to mention the new lounge is not suitable and will not fit into any apartments period!.. As a result after again waiting several weeks for the lounge to arrive it obviously didn't fit into our apartment block entrance let alone our apartment door! Still left with a faulty lounge getting progressively worse and completely unusable we had no choice but to then seek a full refund. We were faced with a very rude store manager who argued with us when we called to ask for a refund, he even raised his voice and just kept talking over us unwilling to help in any way! It was only

  when we advised we would be taking further action he then agreed to organise the full refund however he made sure to make it as difficult as possible making us go back and forth with the customer care team who kept saying the store manager could only process the refund which he kept saying customer care could only do it! After waiting several days we finally received our full refund and bought a new lounge from Focus on Furniture and we couldn't be happier! Never again will we shop at Oz Design and warn anyone who are thinking of shopping for furniture there.. If the product you buy from them is faulty be aware that you will wait MONTHS for any progress in replacing/refunding and you will be purposely ignored and they will make it so difficult for you! Worse yet you will get appalling customer service particularly from the Store Manager of the Hoppers Crossing store who will not have any interest in helping or resolving the issue instead will argue with you and brush you off! A note to the Oz design board.. I suggest you review the staff you have running your stores in particular the Store Manager of the Hoppers Crossing store!.. He does not care for your business nor does he take pride in your business and it's reputation !.. I say this because by the end I had expressed to him that I felt the need to write a review about my bad experience with Oz Design so as to warn other people.. And he blatantly said he didn't care one bit and to go right ahead! Terrible experience! Quality was appalling ! The customer care team and the Store Manager should all be reviewed as their service was DISGRACEFUL !!!

  Modern, well made furniture a cut above the others in Old Geelong Rd. Store is well laid out and staff very friendly. Not cheap, so don't be shy to negotiate!
